I am an experienced technical project manager, petrophysicist and development geologist with 25 years of project experience acquired within Oil & Gas E&P and geothermal energy. I have served as project manager, team lead, team member, stakeholder and even steering committee member. My record includes 17 years of consulting. I have fostered and executed several innovative projects of significant impact.
I strongly believe the team and the people is the key to success of any project. Although I have a very strong focus on objectives, results, delivery and commerciality I NEVER forget my team is the key. I am naturally inclined to strategic thinking and analysis. To this end I am VERY focused when it comes to communication, presentation, stakeholder- and risk management.
Project Experience
2021-2022 Development of NMR Fluid substitution routines to estimate pore throat size and permeability from NMR data for chalk. Routines were developed for both the Baker Hughes MagTrak T2 tool as well as the Halliburton MRIL T1 tool.
2018-2019, WellPerform; Project: Ultra-fast track design of complex well. Successful management of an extreme fast track project making the conceptual as well as the final well design of an ultra-deep exploration well (Sadiya-1) for OIL INDIA. A project where time, cost, resources, complexity of scope and stakeholders had to managed at a very high level to deliver the products on time and meet the expectations of the client while protecting return of investment.
2012-2016, HESS Corporation; Project: Development and refinement of a new data acquisition and drilling strategy for development wells targeting marginal quality chalk never targeted by any operator before.
2013-2016, Joint Chalk Research; Project: Advanced Core Measurements – Construction of a core data base available to authorities and all oil companies in the North Sea region with commercial interest in chalk reservoirs.
2012-2015, Joint Chalk Research; Project: Advanced Core Measurements - Best Practices for Low Reservoir Quality Chalk. Production and publication of guidelines available to authorities and all oil companies in the North Sea region with commercial interest in chalk reservoirs.
2004-2006, DONG Energy; Project: Seismically Driven Reservoir Characterization Using an Innovative Integrated Approach: Syd Arne Field. Construction of a reservoir model taking an innovative approach to push the boundary and identify new opportunities of development.
